Save money while shopping for a new wardrobe!
Share
Summer is here and while that calls for new clothes, the New year has come and gone and your wallet might be feeling the pinch of the shopping season. Low money, big shopping appetite?
While buying a whole new wardrobe seems fun and exciting a lot of you may find it daunting and draining. Summers here and you are still battling with the jeans and long sleeve tops, not so fun now is it.
There is a way to get a new wardrobe without spending a ridiculous amount of money!
Tip # 1
Buy second hand!
It’s not as bad as you may think. Most secondhand clothing is in great condition. If you need some extra cash it can also be a saviour. Facebook marketplace is free and an easy option when buying and selling second hand.
Tip #2
Only buy staple/versatile items!
Yes, you may love that bright print polka dot singlet, but will you wear it often? Probably not. By shopping for wardrobe staples like a great pair of Denim shorts, a natural blazer and a well-fitting neutral coloured dress you can pair items more easily to create that “new wardrobe feel”. Also, when buying staple items, it is best to go with earthy/neutral colours that can be paired with statement pieces that you may already own. Our Beyond one piece is the perfect versatile item. Made to be a stunning one piece, but with the addition of a nice pair of heels, leather skirt and blazer the one-piece turns int a striking bodysuit ready for a night out!
Tip #3
Don’t buy it all at the same time!
Okay, I have to admit, I get in these moods sometimes and just go all out and buy everything I see. Don’t do that! Often you get home and find that you don’t like half the stuff, or you tried them on in a rush and they don’t fit. It's best to split your shopping up so that you A, love what you buy and B, don’t overspend.
Well, there you have it. My tips for buying a new wardrobe without the hefty price tag.
